So I'm interested in tying myself up for some fun with some sort or timer or something to get out. Have you any advice as to where I should start?

My partner plays with bungee cord. She can tie herself pretty tight but since it stretches she can always work free.

Self tying is quite common particularly within Shibari/Kinbaku .All you need is a couple lengths of rope each about 8m and your imagination! If you are looking to self suspend then a spotter is must for safety. On the safety side it’s important to be able to detect nerve issues. Having said that have fun!! (Ps I like Jute rope)

Look at the differences between the different sizes and materials of rope that you have to choose from... And experience the sensations and different artworks that you can create on the body... Bondage is just a start to all the fun and games that can be played... ;)

Always play Safe...If playing Solo,,. stay away from the neck, or hanging scenario...Also a great tool/toy for intense bondage is to go to your horse tack shop.. and pick up some quick release locks that are used in horse trailers.. Maybe a pony player out there has the correct term for me.. ;)
